Closed Rhinoplasty (Closed Rhinoplasty)
In patients undergoing Closed Rhinoplasty (Closed Nose Surgery), the areas to be treated are reached through an incision made in the nostrils.
Among the biggest advantages offered by the Closed Rhinoplasty method is that the operation is completed in a short time and the patient has a comfortable recovery process as small incisions are made.
Among the cases where the Closed Rhinoplasty method is most frequently preferred in Rhinoplasty Surgeries are the following;
People who do not have serious deformation at the tip of the nose,
People who will have Aesthetic Nose Surgery for the first time,
In people without significant curvature of the septum (the septum is the curtain between the two nasal passages),
In cases where the main problem is the protrusion of the cartilage and bones on the dorsum of the nose,
In the solution of the nasal arch problem.
Problems at the tip of the nose can also be intervened with the Closed Rhinoplasty (Scarless) Rhinoplasty method. However, since all procedures other than the incision in the midline of the nose are similar to Open Rhinoplasty, there is no serious difference in the healing process.
In addition, the intervention on the patient's nasal tip cartilages cannot be performed as successfully as in Open Rhinoplasty, and symmetrical problems may occur.
